Jinny Street Gallery is launching a lemon sour available only in select shops in the neighborhood. The exact location and shops are on the map below or our web page.
From the beginning, the gallery’s spirit was to promote up-and-coming artists while walking the city. We think grabbing an excellent craft lemon sour is the way to enjoy walking on hot summer days in Tokyo.
We have partnered with a local craft beverage maker, Open Book, and one of our favorite illustrators, Erica Ward, to create the world’s first (so we believe) craft lemon sour designed for walking in Tokyo on hot summer days.
We’ve also worked hard with our local community of shop owners in the district, and we’re happy (and proud) to announce that the Jinny Lemon Sour will be available only in shops around the district of the gallery.
Lemon Roads Exhibition
To mark the debut of the Jinny Lemon Sour, Jinny Street Gallery is hosting an exhibition from July 6 to August 3.
Lemon Roads features a stunning collection of artworks displayed on the labels of Jinny Lemon Sour, a refreshing new beverage, at our open-air gallery, the Jinny Street Gallery. “Lemon Roads" brings together the diverse works of 42 artists worldwide who have participated in the online open call.
As you stroll through Jinny Street Gallery and its neighborhood, you’ll be immersed in various visual narratives, each telling a unique story of personal and artistic journeys connected to lemons and creative self-expression.
Drawing Workshop
That’s not all. On July 6, we’ll host a workshop with illustrator and sensei Wenyi at our friends, artspace and bar, NININI House.
During the workshop, the participants will challenge themselves to creative drawing with colored pencils, sharpies, and pastel colors, using a white Jinny Lemon Sour label as a canvas.
- 17:00 – 18:30: The workshop. (Paid and advance registration required; buy tickets here)
- 19:00 – 19:30: Artist Walk. We will walk around the gallery to see the Jinny Lemon Sour exhibition together.
- 19:30: The opening party.
