I have always been using art as a way to document places, whether it's cafes, old architecture, old shops, or parks. This time I've been trying to document Jingumae 2-chome and its connection with art through Jinny.

The neighborhood is a mix of old buildings, graffiti, chaotic streets, and a plethora of art that I could capture in my notebook. I have tried to draw the places I'd seen, starting from the place I first got my notebook, until the last Jinny installation.

私はこれまで、カフェや古い建物、昔ながらのお店、公園など、さまざまな場所を記録する手段として、アートを使ってきた。今回は「Jinny」を通して、神宮前二丁目という街と、そこに息づくアートとのつながりを記録してみようと思った。

古い建物やグラフィティ、少し雑然とした街並み。その間に、思いがけないかたちでたくさんのアートが存在している。歩きながら出会ったものを、ひとつひとつノートに描き留めていった。

最初にノートを手に入れた場所から始まり、最後のJinnyのインスタレーションまで。街を歩き、その道のりで出会った風景や作品を描いていくことで、神宮前二丁目という場所を、自分なりの視点で記録してみた。
