My Jinny story is about more than what I saw in the present. It also brought me unexpected connections to my own past and Jinny’s history—especially through people and places that held personal meaning for me.

As an artist, I’m always interested in the hidden stories behind places, and Jinny has so many layers to discover. I spent my mornings walking around the neighborhood, then sketched and wrote in local shops throughout the day.
